Southeast Arizona RV Rentals Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2009 and 31-Dec-2010 AGE REQUIREMENT / DRIVERS
Primary Renter must be at least 25 years of age. All drivers must be licensed and at least 25 years of age. A Motor Vehicle Report shall be run on each driver. Copies of Drivers license and/or passport and visa must be shown at the time of pick up.
MINIMUM RENTAL
4 nights is the minimum rental.
PETS
Special arrangements must be made prior to the rental. If approved for pet use, a $75 pet dander cleaning will apply. Some individuals are allergic to pet hair, and therefore we must shampoo the coach prior to the next rental.
RESERVATIONS
Renters must complete and sign a Rental Reservation Application. We request that reservations be made within 30 days of departures (but a minimum of 24 hours in advance)
QUICK START/PREPARATION SANITATION FEE
$25 MANDATORY for all rentals which includes flushing and recharging of the sewage tanks, bathroom fixtures are sanitized and much more.
PAYMENT
An initial non refundable deposit will be secured at the time of your booking confirmation. Accepted credit cards include - Visa and Master card only for this deposit. The balance due is to be paid 21 days prior to the pick up of the vehicle. Please ensure that you have the funds available and ready at this time. The Supplier gladly accepts Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
INSURANCE
You must provide "Full Coverage" insurance for the term of the rental.
1. You may choose purchase rental insurance($10-25 per day depending on unit rented, $20 processing fee applies also) , or
2. Provide a binder/endorsement from your personal insurance company.
If a binder is provided, it must list the rented vehicle by VIN number, as well as list the rental agency by name.
(NOTE: Allstate, Gieco, Progressive, SAFECO, and Met-Life DO NOT provide binders - If you have any one of these companies as your provider, You must Purchase Rental Insurance)
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.
SECURITY DAMAGE FEE
The Security Damage FEE varies depending on type and size of RV hired, 24' = $550 26' = $600 29' - 36' = $650. This is taken by way of credit card at the pick up of your vehicle and this is refundable on the satisfactory return of your vehicle.
Security Damage Fees are returned within 10 working days of coach return assuming all other requirements are met. The unit must be returned with holding tanks empty, fuel tanks topped-off, basic housekeeping on the interior, and clean outside and undamaged. (fees may apply if these conditions are not met)
PAYMENT TERMS
The Supplier gladly accepts MasterCard, Visa.
CANCELLATION/TERMINATION FEES
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
- Cancellations of 18+ days prior to the scheduled rental start date are subject to a Cancellation Fee. This may be applied 100% towards Future Rental within 1 year of the original rental date.
- Cancellations of 18 days or less prior to rental start date are charged a minimum the base rental fee amount.
- If you cancel/terminate the rental on or after the rental start date, you will forfeit the entire rental contract amounts.
MILEAGE
All daily rates on gasoline motorhomes include 115 free miles per day (Class A Diesel motorhomes 175 free miles per day) then are charged a nominal mileage fee thereafter.
EXTENDED RENTAL MILEAGE CHARGES
Mileage charges for mileage used beyond the included mileage will vary based on the length of the rental and the mileage traveled (*we request customers be honest about their expected itinerary, this allows us more closely estimate overall expected rental fees)
NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR EARLY RETURNS OR LATE PICKUPS.
PREPAID MILEAGE
Prepaid mileage allows the renter to pay a lesser fee in advance for mileage they anticipate to travel beyond the free inclusive mileage. If all or any portion of pre-paid mileage is not used, the renter is not entitled to reimbursement.
DELIVERY/DROP OFF
No extra charges for delivery/return to our lot in Whetstone Arizona. TUCSON AZ Airport pick-up and drop-off fees are an additional single/one time charge of $220-250.
Special delivery times may be scheduled in advance by appointment - Additional fees may apply - Ask for details.
SHUTTLE TO/FROM TUCSON AIRPORT / HOTEL
No shuttles/deliveries after 3pm. Our service includes picking you up curbside at the lower level of the Tucson Airport (Baggage Claim) after you have secured your luggage, (between 8am and 3pm), or meeting you at our preferred hotel (Hyatt Place) located on Tucson Blvd (adjacent to the Airport) and then shuttling you to our storage location in Whetstone AZ. A Single/one-time round trip fee of $160-200 may apply
NOTE: If your arriving flight arrives after 3pm, you will need to secure a hotel room for your 1st nights stay in Tucson. We have made special arrangements with the HYATT PLACE hotel for discounted rates for our customers.
On the day of your return flight, we can shuttle you back to the Tucson Airport (between 7am and 1pm). OR if you are spending your last night at the HYATT PLACE hotel, we can shuttle you to the hotel.
In order to provide these services, we must schedule our time accordingly; therefore we ask that you provide your plans as soon as possible.
SHUTTLE / RV DELIVERY - TUCSON NORTH SIDE
Due to the distance to shuttle passengers and to deliver an RV at the Orange Grove/Thornydale (Tucson North Side) meeting point as well as the time it takes to orientate you to the RV, we do not provide shuttle services/make deliveries after 3pm.
Arriving via a ground shuttle from Phoenix?
If you are using ground shuttle services from Phoenix to Tucson and are expected to arrive in Tucson after 3pm, you will need to make hotel arrangements. We can provide pick up service/delivery of an RV at the HYATT PLACE hotel (Tucson Blvd - Airport location), and we will shuttle you to our lot or deliver the RV to you the following morning at 9am. A Single/one-time round trip fee of $160-200 may apply (See information below regarding hotel reservations)
In order that we may better serve your needs, we ask that you provide us with your expected ground shuttle arrival time in Tucson, as well as the expected return trip departure time.
BEFORE DEPARTURE REQUIREMENTS
A familiarization tour (approximately two (2) hours) is required to acquaint the renter and the drivers with the operation of the vehicle before departure. This tour is conducted only during regular business hours and at the time of pick up.
PICK-UP/DELIVERY & DEPARTURE ON OUR LOT
Normally between 9am and 12 noon daily. (*we accommodate other needs by appointment) Renters arriving late in the day (after 3pm) may be required to pickup the following morning. Orientations generally take approximately 2 hours.
DROP OFF & RETURNS
Normally between 9am and 1pm daily. (*we can accommodate other times by appointment only) Turn In takes approximately 15 minutes.
SMOKING POLICY
All units are non-smoking. Evidence of any smoking in the motorhome will result in a minimal $250 cleaning charge.
GENERATOR USE
We include 3 hours per day (cumulative) - 21 hours per week on motorhome rentals. Anything over is charged at the rate of $2.00 per hour based on the running meter on board.
OPTIONAL GENERATOR RENTAL - TRAILERS
Optional rental of a generator is available when renting one of our travel trailers. The cost is $20 per night’s rental and the use is unlimited.
MEXICO
Vehicles are not permitted in Mexico. Our Insurance underwriters will not insure vehicles for use into Mexico.
CANADA
Use of coaches into Canada is allowed as long as the trip itinerary specifies travel into Canada.
OFF ROAD USE
Vehicles are not permitted on “Logging Roads” and other unmarked/non-public roads. Use on other dirt roads is extremely limited and will renter will incur an additional cleaning charge due to dusty conditions. BE AWARE - RV Rental Road Assist coverage may not apply to breakdowns/repairs in such remote areas.We highly recommend renters utilize Interstate Highways, US Highways, State Roads, and County roads that are paved and clearly marked on road maps. Using such roads ensures that emergency services can more easily locate you and service your needs.
DAMAGES
Renter is responsible for any damage including overhead and undercarriage damage caused to rented vehicle.
FUEL MILEAGE
No warranties are made concerning fuel economy.
HOLDING TANKS
Coach must be returned with tanks emptied and flushed. $30 charge applies if tanks are not emptied.
GASOLINE/PROPANE
Propane & Gasoline refueling during the trip is at the customer’s expense. Vehicles must be returned with the same level of gasoline and propane noted at departure. Gasoline refueling is assessed at the actual cost per gallon and propane is assessed at the rate of 3.75 per gallon. An additional $15 flat rate labor charge will apply for refueling each.
LATE RETURNS
Vehicles must be returned on time as specified at the top of the rental agreement and also as annotated on the check out form at the time renter takes possession of the RV. Over charges will occur at the rate of $60.00 per hour or portion thereof unless prior arrangements have been made and are stated in the rental contract.
EXTERIOR CLEANLINESS
Vehicles must be returned in clean condition. Exterior cleaning fees will be assessed to dirty vehicles and those returned with dusty compartments. Cleaning fees are assessed at $3 per foot of vehicle length. Renter may choose to Pre-Pay for exterior cleaning at a reduced rate of $1.50 per foot.
INTERIOR CLEANLINESS
A pre-paid cleaning charge of $80-140 is charged on all rentals. Our terms & conditions page of the contract explains what our prepaid cleaning fee entails.
TIRE DAMAGE
Lessee is responsible for all tire damage. If the damage consists of a flat tire, or a tire damaged through road hazard, although renter will be responsible for the cost of repairs, the cost is minimized greatly due to our Tire Warranties. However if damage is deemed as caused by drivers’ negligence including damage caused by curb-cutting (Sidewall damage), Striking an object, or driving on a flat tire, as well as damage incurred on a dirt road, then renter is liable for any service charge fees related to flat tires or road hazard damage.
PRIVATE VEHICLE STORAGE
FREEstorage of your vehicle on our premises. Park “at your own risk”. We ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE. Renters parking their vehicle on our lot are required to sign a liability waiver.
ROOF STORAGE
Roof top storage IS NOT permitted on any of our rented vehicles.
TOWING
Towing with our rented motorhome is Prohibited unless specifically allowed for in the rental contract. * If approved, additional fees of $16 per day/$75 per week will apply.
DISCOUNTS
DISCOUNTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME. Only one discount may be applied per rental. (AAA, GoodSam, AARP, Internet Special, or E-Bay Special Purchase) Discount only apply to rentals of one week or greater in duration. NOTE: Reservations are guaranteed on a first paid basis (the first renter who pays deposit for any given rental period is guaranteed their reservation)

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
